Flintstone chairs.

IMG_7216

We have a handmade table and chairs lovingly crafted by my father using jarrah and tuart. Both are West Australian hardwoods. The chairs have an additional component; staves from a wine barrel.
It’s these staves set against the background sunshade that caught my attention.
We jokingly call them the ‘flintstone chairs’ as they very firm to sit on and have a characteristically primitive design look.
