This is another of Melita’s artworks.  It was drawn probably when she was 5 or 6.

I reckon it’s uncannily good.  Through the eyes of a child, the ordinary world is captured in an entirely unique and…un-adult way.

I love how she has compressed the back fence, the sky, the swings all in one plane.   The use of the colour brown adds contrast as well.

Its clever drawing without trying to be clever.

As only a child can do.
