I’ve always wanted to scan an onion. I love the many layers seen in a cut onion.
It’s also a good metaphor to understanding human character; there are many layers to us all, and you have to peel away many of them to get to the core, the essence, to what makes us tick. And that for some could take a lifetime, several in fact.
I’m going to be patient and wait for onion to spring a shoot as I’ve noticed the centre of a cut onion is then noticeably different and quite beautiful.
