As I’ve said in an earlier post, churches are found everywhere in Greece. On top of rocky outcrops (Meteora) or in this case a very small island off Alonisos.
I don’t remember the name of this island near Alonisos but its off the tourist beat. In fact the only thing of interest on this island other than its obscurity is this church. This church doesn’t need to be painted red, it’s the only noticeable feature on this island any way.
It does contrast nicely against the sky though.
