The original improved

Black ink and crayon

This is an example of where original artwork is improved by computer intervention.

The artwork was an exercise in using ink and crayon together.  I never particularly liked the result.

I thought a play on Photoshop after scanning the artwork  could improve the work.  I like to think it has.  It has brought out the colour and yet still retains the black water-colour wash look.  I could have gone further, but then the artwork will have morphed into something else not in the spirit of the original piece.

You ‘gotta’ know when to stop.
