Distorted perfection

distorted perfection

Islāmic geometrical design particularly on mosques interests me as it has a repetitive nature.  They are also quite beautiful.   I understand they were developed in response to a Qur’anic objection to the representation of living creatures.

I like to think they represent God in an abstract way.

Well… being a deviant human with many foibles why don’t I distort that representation.

This image could represent my attempt at describing the human condition visually, or it just may mean Im not feeling very up at the moment…
